Trip to the Aquarium

July 10, 2012

Recently, I took another trip to San Diego. At first, I thought that it was going to be dull. However, yesterday was a pretty fun day. My family and I took a trip to the aquarium, which I think I enjoyed more this time around than last time.

First, we went to the petting area, which was kind of nice, but unfortunately, I did not really get a good shots there because of the huge crowd. There was this huge starfish that kind of seemed interesting enough to take a picture. On the other hand the sun gave me a terrible time, so I did take any photos. The most interesting thing in the area though, which I encountered on my second trip to that area was a creature that felt like jelly, which was a weird feeling.

After finishing the petting area, I went over to the fish hall, which people are more familiar with in terms of aquariums and I sure did get some nice shots there. However, I cannot include every photo in this blog post, so you guys are only going to get the most interesting. The photo above was pretty interesting as this eel was massive.

We then went over to the next area, which was supposed to be pretty dull and full of alternative energy propaganda, but there was one thing that was pretty fun. As can be seen in the photo above, I am spinning a wheel to make a light bulb light up, but I do not think that you guys can see the two bulbs. Everyone else in my group had a hard time getting either bulb working, but I did it with little effort.

For those that think that it was all fun and games there, you are all wrong. I got my arm bit by a shark. Of course, it is only a flesh wound and the shark failed to render the arm useless. Fortunately, that happened after I had a bit of fun at the other attractions in the area.

All in all, it was a pretty exciting day. I am certainly looking forward to what else this trip has in store.
